Adofo Minka

Adofo Minka is a founding member of Cooperation Jackson and a member of its' Coordinating Committee. He is native of St. Louis, MO. His family moved to Jackson after visiting and becoming inspired by the Jackson-Kush Plan and the candidacy of then Councilman Chokwe Lumumba for Mayor of Jackson.

Adofo has been in Jackson for three years. He is grateful to be in Jackson and describes his experience in Jackson as a political education that he could not have received through reading any book or sitting in any classroom. During this time he has been enamored by the kindness, warmness and will to survive exhibited by the working class community in Jackson.

Adofo is a self-described husband, father and person who is dedicated to becoming a fully developed, self actualized and self aware human being through study, introspection, mistakes and reflection.
