South Texas immigrant rights activists calling for a National Day Against the Militarization of the U.S. Border on day of arrival of the Caravan.
National Caravan to the Mexico & Texas borders in solidarity with Central America refugee children and all children & youth under attack. This caravan will take badly needed material aid to the migrant centers at the border. We will also carry out a National Education Campaign.
Immigrant rights, labor union, faith-based community and many progressive and social justice activists are organizing a caravan to South Texas in support of migrant refugees. This caravan will take badly needed material aid to the children on the border as well as to organizations that are supporting immigrants. We will carry out a National Educational Campaign.
This Caravan will be making a stop in Jackson Mississippi on Tuesday October 14th to meet with local activists, organizers and community members. There will also be a vigil held for the Late Mayor Chokwe Lumumba.
